Seventeen-year-old me sat hunched across from Sr. Mary Beatrice, wondering what I’d been summoned for once again!  “Oh my God — another detention?”  “Is she going to make me call my mother?”  Instead I got, “So, Peggy . . . have you ever thought about becoming a nun?”

WHAT!!!?????  I guess I should have expected something like that, with the super-Catholic name of Mary Margaret.

Definitely NOT entering the convent, my life has taken some bizarre twists and turns that prove over and over that it’s just not easy being me!  But what I have learned is that finding humor in everyday situations makes it a little better!
